Instructions for Atropine Patients
Instill 1 drop in each eye every night before bedtime.
If you feel like you didn’t get a full drop into your eye or a lot of it came out in tears, it’s ok to insert another drop. See the videos below for tips on how to insert eyedrops.
If you use Overnight Sight molds as well as Atropine, insert your Atropine drops first, wait a few minutes for the drops to absorb into the eye, then insert your lenses.
If you are running low on your eyedrops, have questions about the drops, or need to make changes to your shipping/billing information, please contact OSRX pharmacy at 855-466-1076.
Instructions for Soft Myopia Control Patients
Most of our soft myopia control lens options are daily disposable lenses, so no maintenance is required! Just use one pair of lenses and then throw them away at the end of each day. Do not reuse lenses- open and use a fresh pair after 24 hours.
If you need to remove your lenses mid-day (for example, if you take a nap or go swimming), you can place them in a regular contact lens case with fresh saline contact lens solution (we recommend Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes) until you are ready to put them back in. After 24 hours, replace your lenses with a fresh pair.
See the videos below for tips on how to insert and remove soft contact lenses.
Instructions for Overnight Sight (Orthokeratology) Patients
Since ONS molds are designed to last an entire year, some maintenance is required to preserve good hygiene and effectiveness. There are a few products you’ll need to care for your ONS molds:
- ClearCare Triple Action Cleaning Solution- For daily soaking of the lenses. Make sure the box says, “Triple Action”. DO NOT use “Plus” or “with HydraGlyde” as these are not appropriate for the molds. Keep and use the barrel-shaped cleaning case that comes with the solution! Be mindful to note the R for the right basket and the L for the left basket. DO NOT use a flat lens case.
- Unique PH Multi-Purpose Solution- For daily rinsing of the lenses. Do not use the case that comes with the solution
- Refresh Relieva Lubricating Eye Drops or Oasis Tears Eye Drops- For added lens moisture and to aid in lens removal
- DMV Classic Lens Removers- For removing the lenses from the eyes, DO NOT use your fingers
- Progent Protein Remover- For quarterly deep cleaning
ALL OF THESE PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN OUR OFFICE OR ON PEEQ PRO
STEP-BY-STEP: HANDLING AND CARE FOR YOUR OVERNIGHT SIGHT MOLDS
- After wearing your molds during the night, place a lubricating drop in the eyes and lightly press on the molds through the eyelids to loosen them.

Oasis Tears

Refresh Relieva
- Remove the molds using the lens remover.

- Gently place the molds inside the baskets of the case used for Clear Care Triple Action. Pay attention to which lens is RIGHT and which lens is LEFT.

- Leave the molds to soak in the Clear Care Triple Action for at least 6 hours. To keep things simple, we recommend leaving it there all day until you are ready to wear them that night. Bubbling will occur during disinfection and the solution may even bubble out of the top of the cleaning case. Keep the cleaning case upright and do not shake.

- At bedtime, remove the molds from the case and place them gently in the palm of your hand. Make sure your hands are washed and dry.

- Squeeze some Unique PH solution into the palm of your hands to rinse the molds. Use your pinky to gently rub the molds clean. DO NOT SKIP RINSING- ClearCare contains peroxide which may sting your eyes. Make sure to rinse your molds of any residual peroxide as instructed.

- Place the mold on the tip of a dry finger. Place a lubricating drop into the mold.

- Insert the mold and go to sleep.

Tips and Tricks for Overnight Sight Care:
- Rinse your case with warm water every evening. Leave your case open, with the top inverted, to air dry during the night while the molds are in your eyes.
- Never reuse solution! Refill your case with new solution every morning after removing the molds.
- Replace the cleaning case every time you open a new pack of ClearCare. The effectiveness of the neutralization disc inside the case begins to decrease after about a month or two’s worth of uses. A new case is supplied with each new pack of ClearCare.
- DO NOT put ClearCare (or any other peroxide solution) directly into the eye.
- The solutions listed in these instructions are the doctor’s preferred solutions to use with this program. Do not use any other solutions or drops unless you have received permission/guidance from someone on our team. Everything you’ll need to maintain this program can be purchased in-office or from PeeqPro.
